Description : Erbaut wurde die Kirche um 1200 n.Chr. Sie ist eine der ältesten Wehrkirchen in Nordfriesland und diente den Dorfbewohnern nicht nur zum Gottesdienst, sondern auch als Zufluchtstätte, wenn sich Feinde näherten. Nach Johannes Meyer (1654) hatte die Kirche als Heiligen den Andreas. Er gilt vor allem als Apostel Kleinasiens. Sein Gedenktag ist der 30.
