Description	:	Located on North side of SR 1318 across from Edwards Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Land was donated by my Uncle Lemuel H. Hardy before 1973. There are two cemeteries in this community about 300 yards apart. Both have been from one time or another called Edwards Chapel Baptist Cemetery. That is not true. My cousin William Lindsey Cannon gave the land to the church in abt. 1931 and began the Cannon Cemetery within a couple of years. My uncle Lemuel Hardy, Sr. gave the land for the Hardy Family Cemetery almost immediately before he and his wife died. They were and still are... They were and still are two different and distinct cemeteries with many members of my family buried in each in fact my sister and her husband are buried in the Cannon Cemetery and their oldest son is buried in the Hardy Cemetery
