Description	:	This garden of rest was created in 1974 on the site of a 16th century church and church yard in the parish of St Margaret, Horsforth, by the Urban District Council in co-operation with the civic society of Horsforth. Originally built in the 16th century, the church it was replaced in the 18th century and was a chapel of ease, meaning the villagers did not have to walk all the way to St Oswald's in Guiseley to worship. It was referred to The Bell Chapel because of its bell tower at the front of the building, and was demolished...
