| Description | : | The former collegiate church St. Chrysanthus and Daria is the Roman Catholic Church of Bad Münstereifel. The well preserved Romanesque Basilica is an important architectural monument. The Benedictine monastery was founded in 830, the monastery owes its origin and name from the roman martyrs of Chrysanthus and Daria, that gave the church considerable importance. The present basilica was built in the 11th century. After the dissolution of the monastery in 1803, the monastery began to fall into disrepair. In 1872, the Northwestern flanks Tower collapsed.
