Description	:	Almon A. Baxter, 81, of 44 Walnut street died at a local hospital Saturday morning following a short illness. Mr. Baxter was born in Champlain, N.Y., the son of the late Ira and Eunice (Waters) Baxter, and spent the greater part of his life in this city. He was a retired conductor for the Public Service company of this city, and a member of the United Kingdom Jehovah Witnesses. Friends and relatives may call at the Connor Memorial Funeral home, 609 Beech street, corner of Bridge street. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. H.L. Philbrick of Boston will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove cemetery. Son, David Warren Baxter, born in Manchester, NH. on Nov. 20, 1910. There was records that he spent some time in prison for forgery. The last record found was in 1962 for a California Voter Registration in Los Angeles. Death unknown. He looked to have been married in 1934, I don't know if he had children. Son, Milton Irving Baxter, born in Manchester, NH. on Nov. 26, 1912. Died about 1985. Online family trees were giving his birth and death as (1913-1990), but that Milton was born in NY. and had parents by different names. The last record I could find for Milton was his World War II Draft registration card from 1940, he listed his mother, Florence as next of kin and was living in Union, NJ. at the time. He was also mentioned in his father's obituary. Exact death date unknown. Son, Paul Tasker Baxter, born and died in Manchester, NH. Born Sep. 4, 1914 and died on Sep. 3, 1997. Daughter, Ruth Arlene (Baxter) Dailey, born in Manchester, NH. on May 29, 1923. Died in Middletown, OH. on Nov. 9, 2009.
