Description	:	From The Goldendale Sentinel, September 20, 1934: Anna Ferguson was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada on July 30, 1850. She was married in Ontario to Robert Watson in 1873. They left immediately for San Francisco and a short time later established their home in Napa County, California. A few years later they made a trip to Oregon by wagon but returned to California after a short stay. In 1881 they moved to Klickitat County, Washington, and made their home on what is now the Harry Ferguson place. Mr. Watson died at Goldendale in May... Read More	From The Goldendale Sentinel, September 20, 1934: Anna Ferguson was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada on July 30, 1850. She was married in Ontario to Robert Watson in 1873. They left immediately for San Francisco and a short time later established their home in Napa County, California. A few years later they made a trip to Oregon by wagon but returned to California after a short stay. In 1881 they moved to Klickitat County, Washington, and made their home on what is now the Harry Ferguson place. Mr. Watson died at Goldendale in May 1905. Of the six children born of this marriage, five survive to mourn her loss. E.R. of Sunnyside, Wn., A.J. of Wapato, Wn., Fred of Goldendale, and Mrs. Maude Richardson, and Mrs. Ida Wing, also of Goldendale; and a host of friends. She united with the Presbyterian church in her girlhood and remained true to its teachings throughout a long and useful life. She passed away at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Laverne Darland, in Goldendale, on September 13, 1934. Funeral services were held from the Chapman Chapel, Sunday, Sept. 16th, 1934 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. R.H. Allen officiating. Interment followed in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery. ********************************************* From The Goldendale Sentinel, September 13, 1928: Mrs. Robert Watson, who is 76 years of age, was taken ill the past week with typhoid fever, persumabely contracted in Yakima county, where she has been visiting. It is unusual for a person of her age to contact typhoid, and it is only after a state test had been made that the illness was fully determined. ********************************************* The Yakima Herald, May 13, 1902: Mrs. Robert Watson, and daughter Callie, who have been visiting relatives at No. 6 for several weeks, left Friday for their home at North Yakima.
