Description	:	Clarence William Aleshire, 80, of Luray, died on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at MontVue Nursing Home. He was born on 14 September 1923, in Bentonville and was a son of the late Noah William and Rosie Corbin Aleshire. Mr. Aleshire was an Army veteran of World War II and was a textile worker at Luray Textiles. He was a member of the Luray Church of the Brethren. On May 2, 1942, he married the former Gladys Mae Bell, who survives. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ashby Franklin Aleshire. A funeral service was conducted on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Bradley Funeral Homer by the Rev. Max W. Fisher and the Rev. JuliAnne Bowser Sloughfy. Burial was in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray with military rites conducted by the VFW Comer-Jones Post 621.
