OBITUARY THE RUSSELL UNION-TRIBUNE Russell, Iowa Thursday, December 9, 1926 DELILAH E. SELLERS Delilah Evaline Rimer was born in Cedar Township, near Russell, Iowa, November 4th 1855 and departed this life December 1st 1926, aged 71 years and 21 days. She was married to Tom Sellers in Cedar Township on December 25th 1877. They were looking forward to the next year when they could celebrate their golden wedding but God chose otherwise so she has gone to the Golden city to await the coming of her loved ones. Having been coverted in the Christian church when a girl, she has been faithful to her charge as a christian until she was called home to her reward. She leaves to mourn her death her husband and six children as follows: Bert and Orlan of Chariton, Ray, Mark and Mrs. Will Clannin and Mrs. Geo. Larimer of Russell. Two sisters, Mrs. Lovell of Bridgewater, Iowa, Mrs. McLaughlin of Wendte, South Dakota. Twenty-one grandchildren and a host of friends. She was a loving mother and a kind neighbor and will be greatly missed by her loved ones and the community. Funeral services were held at the Bethel church Friday afternoon and interment in Bethel cemetery conducted by Rev. Houghton.
