Mrs. Richardson was born February 26, 1942 in Pamplico, South Carolina, a daughter of Larthan Alexander Smith and Mary Maybelle Hartfield Smith. She was a former employee of Doscher’s and FoodLand. She was a member of the Georgetown Church of God. Doris and Ronald were married on January 4, 1959, and celebrated 51 years together. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Doris Ann Richardson who died in childhood; a son-in-law, Donnie Barnes; and three brothers, Bill Smith, Kenneth Smith, and Donald Smith. Funeral services were Saturday, March 4, 2017, in Georgetown Church of God. Burial followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
