Description	:	Gloria Switzer Gloria Marie Switzer, 72, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2005, at her residence. She was born May 10, 1933, in Fostoria and was the daughter of the late Paul and Loa Yochum Pember. She was a graduate of Bowling Green State University and retired after 31 years of teaching at Bloom-Carroll School. She was a member of the Marcy Trinity Lutheran Church, retired teachers association and the Canal Winchester FFA Alumni Association. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Donald E. Switzer; a son, Allan Switzer of Pleasantville; a daughter Carol (Richard) Zipf of Delaware; two granddaughters, Hannah and Sarah Zipf; brothers, Donald (Nan) Pember of Middletown and Harold Pember of South Lebanon; sisters, Donnis (Rev. Robert) Bayless of Canal Winchester and Loanna (Paul) Spangler of Hubbard; sisters-in-law, Miriam Loy and P.A. Switzer, both of Lancaster; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Marcy Trinity Lutheran Church with burial in Amanda Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Marcy Trinity Lutheran Church, 9980 Marcy Road, Ashville, Ohio. Published in the Lancaster Eagle-Gazette (Lancaster, Ohio) - Friday, June 10, 2005.
