Greg was born on October 11, 1970, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth "Betty" (Gindt) Breja. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School, Class of 1989. Greg was born on October 11, 1970, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Stephen and Elizabeth "Betty" (Gindt) Breja. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School, Class of 1989. Following school, Greg lived at home to help his family on the farm as well as other farmers in the area. Greg was a hard worker, most recently for Pierce Lumber in Belle Plaine while still working the family farm running a small cow and calf operation. Greg enjoyed sports, cheering on ISU and Iowa Hawkeye football and basketball, going to Belle Plaine Athletic events and supporting all Belle Plaine organizations. He like to be around people and talk with his brothers on the phone. When he was younger Greg enjoyed raising his sheep. He was a devoted Christian and member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. Greg is survived by his brothers, Jeff (Lisa) Breja of State Center and Craig (Patty) Breja of Cedar Rapids; nieces and nephews, Justin (Lauren) Breja, Zach Breja, Shannon (Jon) Licht, Kate Breja, C.J. Breja, Kelly Breja, Marshall Breja, Andrew (Amberly) Breja, Phillip (Heather) Breja; great nieces and nephews; and many more aunts, cousins, and friends.
