Hayes T. Smith, 72, died at his home in Lockesburg Friday night. He was born in Kentucky and had been a resident of Sevier county for many years.
Survivors include his wife, three sons, Floyd and Oscar Smith of Lockesburg, and David Smith, Odessa, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Gallaher, Lockesburg, and Mrs. Earl Thereshner, Fort Worth, Texas, a brother, Will Smith, Victoria,Texas, and a sister, Mrs.Ida Scott, El Campo, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lockesburg Baptist church. Burial will be in Belleville Cemetery.
