Mr. Comer was born on May 8, 1942 in Rocks/Pylesville, Maryland; he was a son of the late James Andrew and Nola May Ball Comer. Read More	James Marvin Comer, 62, of Street, Maryland died at his home from complications of diabetes on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. He was the husband of Grace Ann (Hilton) Comer and they celebrated forty-six years of marriage on May 20, 2004. Mr. Comer was born on May 8, 1942 in Rocks/Pylesville, Maryland; he was a son of the late James Andrew and Nola May Ball Comer. He was the owner of Maybelle Manor Mobile Home Estate in Conowingo, Maryland. Friends and family remarked that he enjoyed bluegrass music, deep sea fishing, NASCAR racing, traveling, and his Dachshund named "Midget." He enjoyed operating construction equipment, and driving trucks. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: four daughters, Peggy Ann Belcher and Linda Sue "Susie" Comer and her fiance, W. Warren Rosenthal of Forest Hill, Md., Leona Maybelle Hill and her husband Kenneth of Bel Air, Md., Ruby Ann Blevins of Havre de Grace, Md. Two sisters, Arbutus Hilton of Columbia, Ky., Stella Miller of Darlington, Md. One brother, Harvey Comer of Darlington, Md. Grandchildren Kimberly Smith of Conowingo, Md., Donald Rosenthal of Rising Sun, Md., Douglas Hill of Fallston, Md., Jeffrey Hatfield of Delta, Pa., Pamela Hatfield of Dundalk, Md., Laura Blevins of Havre de Grace, Md., Dorothy Miller of Forest Hill, Md., Joseph Rosenthal of Elkton, Md., and Steve Blevins of Havre de Grace, Md. Great-grandchildren, Katie Sue Smith, Skylar Alexis Hill, and Jacob Wayne Smith. Step-great-grandchildren Brody Phipps, Brianna Rice, Austin Rice and Logan Vergari. He was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Dowell. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at New Covenant Church of God, 2530 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, Maryland with his minister, Pastor Chris Dutruch presiding. Interment will be in Highview Memorial Gardens in Fallston, Maryland. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Douglas Hill, Jeffrey Hatfield, Steven Blevins, Donald Rosenthal, Stephen Smith, and William Rice. Honorary pallbearers will be his four daughters. Memorial contributions may be made to Harford Hospice, 8003 Corporate Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236 or to New Covenant Church of God, 2530 Conowingo Road, Bel Air, MD 21015. Harkins Funeral Home of Delta, Pennsylvania is directing the services.
