Description	:	John A. Didde, 77, formerly of Topeka, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at a hospital in St. Joseph, Mo. He had lived in St. Joseph since October 2001. His survivors include a brother, Carl Didde of Emporia. John A. Didde, who worked for the Santa Fe Railway for 46 years, retired in 1986 as assistant manager of administrative services for information systems. Mr. Didde was born April 25, 1925, in Nortonville. He was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral in St. Joseph, Knights of Columbus Council 534 and the Santa Fe Old Timers Club. For more than 50 years, he was a member of the Church of the Assumption in Topeka, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Mathena Funeral Home in Topeka, where rosaries will be recited by the parish at 6 p.m. and by the Knights of Columbus at 6:30 p.m. Memorials in his name have been established with the Assumption School, 203 W.
