She graduated from Fremont High School and was a member of First Christian Church and the World War I Mothers Club. She married Arthur Rowe on May 1, 1920. They were blessed with a daughter and three sons. Sadly, Arthur died on April 12, 1944. She married James Murray on March 22, 1950. He survives. Rowe of Rockville, Maryland; a brother, E. E. Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Skoog of Omaha and Mrs. George (Mary) Kocina of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at First Christian Church in Fremont Friday for Josephine Murray, 85, of Fremont who died Tuesday evening in Arbor Manor Nursing Home. Rev. Doran Myers conducted the services.
