Description	:	Kathleen was born to Roy and Lolita (Ambrose) Petersen near Woodbine, IA. She attended country school, and the Woodbine high school, and then Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. Then she taught school two years in Onawa, IA. She married Wallace Hare on November 29, 1953 at First Methodist Church in Woodbine. She then taught elementary classes in Woodbine for 31 years. They moved into Woodbine in 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Woodbine. Wallace died June 9, 2011. She is survived by her two children, Frederick Wallace Hare and his wife Karen of Rock Island, Illinois, and Rebecca Ellen Hare of Shelby, Iowa. And by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchidlren; a brother Karl Peterson and his wife Jackie of Logan, IA.
