Mrs. Beasley was born January 2, 1939 in Georgetown, South Carolina, the daughter of David A. Wright and Gracie Bell McKenzie. She worked at The Reynolds Drug Store from 1960 to 1973. She worked with Georgetown County School District Food Service from 1973 to 2004. Mrs. Beasley was a caregiver over the years for her family and friends. She is remembered by her family and friends for a heart of compassion, displaying her faith as a member of the Church of God and fulfilling her ministry through service to others. Mrs. Beasley was a loving mother, a cherished grandmother and a special aunt. She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Earl Dean Wright. Surviving are two sons, Shannon (Melissa) Beasley of Enola, Pa. and Marshall (Ginger) Beasley of Pawleys Island; her grand- children, Mikayla Beasley, Allison Beasley, Kristen Nelson and Heather Nelson; two brothers, Wilmont (Nancy) Wright and Marion (Virginia) Wright, both of Andrews; two sisters, Janice (Harold) Dupree and Eleanor (David) Wilson, both of Andrews; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Six Mile Crossing Church of God. Burial, directed by McKenzie Funeral Home, will follow in the Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
