Death Comes as Shock Mrs. Leolla (sic) Winslow, presiding officer of the local Rebekah lodge died at 3:40 o'clock yesterday at the Youngberg hospital as the result of an operation on Wednesday. Her death came as a complete surprise to her many friends in Ellensburg, who believed that she was recovering in a satisfactory manner from a critical operation. Funeral services at three o'clock tomorrow from the Methodist church will be attended by Rebekah lodge as a body. Mrs. Winslow had been active in Rebekah lodge since her arrival here from Grayling, Michigan, eight years ago. She was elected noble grand last January and members of the lodge declare that no woman elected to the office has ever been more popular or more faithful in the performance of duty. Mrs. Winslow was left a widow in June 1918, when her husband, Lee Winslow, died followiing an operation. She is survived by three daughters, Helen, Norma and Irene Winslow and two sons, Eldon and Rolla Winslow. She has a sister, Mrs. C. W. Fulton, residing in Ellensburg and her brother, Herbert Sutherland, who lives in Detroit, Mich. Her father F. J. Sutherland resides in San Diego, Cal. Members of Rebekah lodge are asked to meet at 2:15 p. m. Sunday at the Odd Fellows hall to attend the funeral of their sister lodge woman.
