The pallbearers were: Messrs Nim Bell, George Diens, George Woods, Jesse Benner, I. E. Hardesty and Peter Dickman. – Defiance Daily Crescent News, April 25th, 1910. Mrs. Martha Jane Marcellus, widow of the late David Marcellus, died Friday evening at 5:15. The deceased was born July 6th, 1838 and at the time of her death was aged 71 years, 9 months and 16 days.
