Description	:	Mary “Lizzie Bell” Alford, 91, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at McLeod Hospital. She was born August 29, 1924 in Marion County, a daughter of the late Ervin and Mary Poston Larrimore. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ned Alford; two brothers, Grant and Bill Larrimore; one sister, Nita Shumpert. Lizzie Bell worked for the Marion County School District for many years, serving the children in the lunch room. She enjoyed going to church, serving the Lord and in her spare time gardening. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ned Alford; two brothers, Grant and Bill Larrimore; one sister, Nita Shumpert. Lizzie Bell worked for the Marion County School District for many years, serving the children in the lunch room. She enjoyed going to church, serving the Lord and in her spare time gardening. Lizzie Bell will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all, who always put others before herself. Mrs. Alford is survived by five daughters, Christine Capps of Galivants Ferry, Roberta Richardson of Britton’s Neck, Virginia Jones (Edward) of Conway, Pearline Singleton (Buddy) of Britton’s Neck and Margaret Owens of Georgetown; one brother, Early Larrimore (Myrtis) of Britton’s Neck; three sisters, Annie Mae Cook of Mullins, Lucille Cooper of Conway and Cora Lee Johnson of Conway; seven grandchildren, Ricky Roberts (Jan), Brenda Roberts, Sandy Roberts, Ann Player (Rubin), Robbie Richardson (Ellen), Amy McDonald (Shane) and John Owens Jr.; six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Watson Funeral Services Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm. Funeral Services will be held 3pm Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Montgomery and Rev. Timmy Larrimore officiating. Burial will follow at Old Neck Cemetery.
