Mrs. Fisher was one of three women injured in a collision of two cars. She was a passenger in one of the vehicles. Mrs. Fisher was born March 14, 1884, at Emmetsburg, Ia. She came to Sioux City as a child and lived here the rest of her life. She was a member of St. Monica's guild, Confraternity at the Cathedral of Epiphany and the Royal Neighbors. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Faye Schmidt, and a brother, John A. Nicholson, both of Los Angeles, and the sister. The Sioux City Journal, July 22, 1953
