She taught in several schools and really enjoyed her career. She married Henry Urwiller, and to this union was born a son, Gregory. They lived on the farm near Sodtown. Maurine enjoyed her life as a farm wife and helped in many ways at jobs on the farm. Those left to cherish her memory include her son: Greg (Sharon) Urwiller of Grand Island; grandchildren: Jacob Urwiller of Lincoln, NE, Lisa (Tyler Gingery) Urwiller of Lincoln, NE; great-grandchildren: Emma, Zander, and Bryson; and sisters: Esther Lucas and Sharon Trampe. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Henry; brother: Keith; and sisters: Betty Ohlman and Iris Krotz.?
