Mitch is the father of Jessica, Tyler, Savannah & Mia. Exactly six months prior to his death, his wife Traci passed away. Mitch and Traci were cremated. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, at Lampe Funeral Home in Lake City. Funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Lampe Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date. Mitchell Lee Davis was born on Sept. 25, 1966, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Phillip and Nyla (Christensen) Davis. He graduated from Gretna High School in Gretna, Nebraska, in 1985 and then earned his associate’s degree in applied science in automotive technology. On Sept. 17, 2005, Mitch married Traci Smith in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mitch worked as a K-Pac supervisor at New Way in Scranton and served as a leader in the Lake City Union Church’s Youth Group. Mitch is survived by his children Jessica, Tyler, Savannah and Mia Davis; grandchildren Logan, Dakota, Annabelle, Suzy and Rosie; mother Nyla; brother Curtiss; father- and mother-in-law Ted and Connie; brother-in-law Jeremy; and sister-in-law Theresa. He was preceded in death by his father Phillip Davis; wife Traci in May 2016; and an infant brother, Clifton.
