He graduated from Ida Grove High School in 1947. He married Carol Bve Nov. 7, 1948, in Elk Point, S.D. He drove the Sinclair Tank Wagon in this area for over 30 years, retiring in 1987. Mr. Wehner served in the United States Navy during WW II. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda and her husband, Eugene Friedrichsen, of Breda, Iowa, Kathy and her husband, Richard, Bond of Evansdale, Iowa, and Mary Jo Wehner of Fort Dodge, Iowa; his mother, Lydia Evans of Denison, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, Shelby Wehner, who has lived with them, Crystal Brake, Jason, Justin, Michelle and Jeremy Friedrichsen, and Matthew, Kara, Ryan and Renea Bond; two great-granddaughters; four sisters, Marie and her hus-band.Max Bilstein, of Denison, Inez and her husband, Julius, Knop of Denison, Mildred Malone of Dow City, Iowa, and Shirley and her husband, Ronald Bond, of Unbion, Mich.; and two brothers and their wives, Gerald and Mildred Miller of Odebolt, Iowa, and Donald and Bergel Evans of Petersburg, Va. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Chad Michael Wehner; three brothers, John, Virgil and Richard Wehner; a stepbrother, Robert Evans; his father; and his stepfather, Glen Evans.
