Description	:	WENATCHEE _ Orval E. Dungan, 77, a 45-year resident of Wenatchee, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1993, in Central Washington Hospital following an extended illness. He was born Oct. 19, 1916, to Joseph E. and Sarah F. (Smith) Dungan, at Republic. He attended school at Marcus and Oroville, graduating from Oroville High School in 1935. He worked in the orchard and construction industries for a time, and in 1940 he hired out as a brakeman on the Spokane division of the Great Northern Railroad. He was a member of the Wenatchee Grace Lutheran Church and was president of the Men's Brotherhood, taught Sunday school, was a member of the grounds committee and the intern committee. He was also a member of the Burlington Northern Veteran's Association. He is survived by his wife, of Wenatchee; a son, the Rev. F. Alvin Dungan of Allentown, Pa.; three daughters, Ardelle Temanson of Maple Grove, Minn., Marcia Swanson of Seattle and Donna Sagerser of Olympia; a sister, Kathleen Russell of Omak; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Arrangements are by Jones and Jones Funeral Directors, Wenatchee.
