Description	:	PONCA - Ramona Anna (Nelson) Kamrath, 73, of Ponca, died Friday, June 27, 2003, at her residence in Ponca. Services were Monday at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca with the Rev. Ron Youngerman officiating. Burial was in the Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca. Mrs. Kamrath was born July 11, 1929, to Gerhard and Marian (Nielsen) Nelson in rural Maskell. She attended the Maskell School. She married Elmer Kamrath on June 15, 1947 at Maskell. They lived in Ponca for two years before moving to Sioux City. They moved back to Ponca in 1954. Services were Monday at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca with the Rev. Ron Youngerman officiating. Burial was in the Silver Ridge Cemetery in rural Ponca. Mrs. Kamrath was born July 11, 1929, to Gerhard and Marian (Nielsen) Nelson in rural Maskell. She attended the Maskell School. She married Elmer Kamrath on June 15, 1947 at Maskell. They lived in Ponca for two years before moving to Sioux City. They moved back to Ponca in 1954. She worked for the Elms Health Care Center for twenty years. She enjoyed home decorating and crafts. She was a member of the church, WELCA, the American Legion Auxiliary and the three o'clock gathering. Survivors include her husband; one son, Kevin Kamrath and special friend, Deb Condreay of Monroe; two daughters, Kimberly (Leo) Rohan of Emerson and DiAnna Buerger of Scottsdale, Ariz.; four brothers, Gaylord Nelson of Ponca, Ronald (Mavis) Nelson and Gary (Gloria) Nelson, both of Maskell, and Dale (Catherine) Nelson of Pender; three sisters, Myrna Rahn, Leona Bottoroff and Twila (Dick) Taylor, all of Ponca; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gordon Nelson and Don Nelson; and one sister, Adelene Bostwick. Mohr Funeral Home in Ponca was in charge of arrangements.
