Description	:	"Randy William Drews was born Christmas Day in 1957 to Lester and Evelyn (Magnuson) Drews. He grew up and attended school in Yutan, graduating from Yutan High School in 1976. He then earned his Associate’s Degree in Diesel Mechanic from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska in 1978. Growing up in Yutan, Randy spent most of his time helping on the family farm. He then earned his Associate’s Degree in Diesel Mechanic from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska in 1978. Growing up in Yutan, Randy spent most of his time helping on the family farm. Randy married Dawn Strong on May 21, 1983 in Ralston, Nebraska, and they were blessed with one son, Justin. Randy and Dawn made their home just outside of Yutan. Randy worked for Virgil Implement in Wahoo, Nebraska for a short time, then began a career with Aggregate Carriers in Mead, Nebraska. Randy did just about everything at Aggregate, from driving to dispatching to fixing nearly everything. He spent 36 years with Aggregate, and was dedicated to all he did for them. Randy enjoyed going to Farmer Brown’s for a Prime Rib, and was a big fan of both the Chicago Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs. He and Dawn even were able to attend a game in Kansas City between the two teams last fall! When Randy wasn’t working at Aggregate, he was farming. Randy was a caring and loving man, who was always there when he was needed. He loved his dog, Spike, who went everywhere with him. But most of all, Randy cherished his son and his two grandsons. They were his life. Randy died at his home outside of Yutan on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the age of 58 years, 2 months, and 7 days. He was preceded in death by his father Lester Drews. Randy is survived by his wife Dawn and son and daughter-in-law Justin & Amanda Drews, grandsons Jackson & Kaysen all of Yutan, mother Evelyn of Yutan, NE, brothers; Ronnie and wife Kathy of Yutan, and Robert of Yutan, sister Linda and husband Bill Racicot of Deer Park Heights, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service Friday, 2:30 PM at the funeral home in Yutan. Interment Pleasant View Cemetery, Leshara, NE. Visitation Thursday from 2-8 PM with family receiving friends from 5-8 PM at the funeral home in Yutan. Memorials to the family." Reichmuth Funeral Home, Elkhorn, Nebraska.
