Susie first married William H. Ruiter "Henry" on October 30, 1898. They were married in Meredith New Hampshire. She was 15 years old, and Henry was 18. Henry's mother was Mary Danforth. They had a baby girl together when Susie was 16. She was going to be named Eva, but she was born prematurely and only survived one precious day. Read More	************************************* Susan Ann "Susie" Mardin, (Ruiter),(Morse),(West). She is the daughter of Adeline Stickney Mardin and George Henry Mardin. Susie first married William H. Ruiter "Henry" on October 30, 1898. They were married in Meredith New Hampshire. She was 15 years old, and Henry was 18. Henry's mother was Mary Danforth. They had a baby girl together when Susie was 16. She was going to be named Eva, but she was born prematurely and only survived one precious day. Baby Eva was laid to rest at Bean Cemetery in New Hampshire. Later this would be the Cemetery where Henry was also laid to rest. Their marriage was brief following the loss of their child. On August 1, 1905 Susie married second, John Lewis Morse "Lewis" in Ashland New Hampshire. She was 22 and he was 27. Lewis was born February 4, 1878 in Campton NH. His father was John D. Morse and his mother was Sarah Jane Moulton. The Morse and Moulton names are also found in the family of Susie's mother, Addie Stickney. In 1910 they were living in Woodstock New Hampshire with two children from Lewis' first marriage to Lonnie Blanche Sanborn. Lewis served in WW1. Lewis' third wife was Mable E. Morse. In 1911 Susie and Lewis and Eva in census. Lewis passed away January 28, 1941, Susie and Lewis having divorced some time prior. In 1930 Susie was age 46 and living in the household with Herbert Jason West, "Herb" age 59 and her daughter Eva M. Mardin Morse age 19. Herb had siblings, Alida Alisha, Edith, Alice, Eddie, Edgar and George. Herb first married Eva E. Newman (Murphy, West) who passed away in 1922. They had a daughter. Second, he married Susie. Susie was very close to her father, George Henry Mardin, and her brother Marshall Bert and his wife and children. She lived in Rhode Island for some time, making regular trips to CT to see her family. Susie went to be with the Lord on June 28, 1970. She was 87 wonderful years old.
