NEWTON - William John Sr., 52, died Sunday at Axtell Christian Hospital, Newton, after long illness. Born July 11, 1919, in Burrton, he married Lois Thomas. He was an employee of Beech Aircraft, Wichita and a lifetime resident here. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Newton; Blue Lodge.
Survivors include the widow; daughters: Janet, of the home; Mrs. J. J. Unruh, Valley Center; son: William Jr., Newton; sisters: Mrs. Maty Jane Mears and Mrs. Esther Henry, Newton; two grandchildren.
