Mr. Willis Medlin, a well known farmer of Goose Creek township, died Sunday morning. He was sixty-nine years of age and a man who stood high in the estimation of his neighbors . He was a volunteer in the Great war and served in Company I of the famous Forty-eighth, was wounded at Ream's Station, and was also taken a prisoner. The deceased was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church and was a good example of the sturdy faith and practice to which he belonged. He made a good living on his farm. Three son, messrs. T. F., A. G. And W. E. Medlin and one daughter survive the deceased. ***********************************
