It is 1500 feet directly behind Pine Grove United Methodist Church, on the edge of the I-40 right of way. Adam Griffith acquired a known 355 acres at this location. The home of his father was in Lewisville on the double creek, near the Yadkin River. The cemetery is situated at the highest peak and could be seen from the 3 family homes built... The home of his father was in Lewisville on the double creek, near the Yadkin River. The cemetery is situated at the highest peak and could be seen from the 3 family homes built on this estate. The first being log cabins. The last home, and one still occupied was built in 1925. The property was sold out of the Griffith Family approximately 2013. The current home faces the cemetery. The property was divided, and much of it bought up when I-40 was built. Family history indicates that many slaves are buried here.
