Description	:	This old cemetery is located on what is now known as Holly Hills, a community in Madison, West Virginia. According to Ronald Nelson of the Boone County Genealogical Society, this area belonged to the Allen family and was known as Allen or Allen Hill. The story goes that during the Civil War, around the same time the Union troops burned the Boone County courthouse, a church located adjacent to this cemetery was also burned.
