| Description | : | Cemetery built under Simón Bolívar's regime in Peru (c. 1825–1830s) in order to provide a local cemetery for the town of Ayaviri due to hygiene problems resulting from the burials in the town's church, which were the norm up to that point. A landslide destroyed the cemetery several years later, having been replaced by another one. Was also known as the "Panteón Extramuros". |
