Description	:	Abandoned cemetery for the Arnold family. Located three miles southeast of Gunnison, MS. In Section 2, Township 24 North, Range 7 West. It is enclosed with a wire fence. Entrance to the cemetery is on the south side a few feet beyond an old tower oak tree. An iron gate is four feet high and eleven feet wide. Arnold donated one acre of land adjacent to the first Baptist church on the "Columbus Arnold place" in Bolivar County, Mississippi for this cemetery. The church was established about 1856. The cemetery was originally called the Cora Overby Arnold Cemetery. In 1862, William W. Arnold was buried in the center of the cemetery.
