Description	:	Baker Cemetery is on a slope near the water tower with a wood rail fence, off Avery Street. Most of the bodies were removed to Green Grove Cemetery but at least two remained. Col Nathan Baker was the san of Joseph Baker. His father deeded the land to Col Nathan who started to build the lovely brick home now owned by Tom Wynn. Misfortune or ill health befell col Nathan. He filed for bankruptcy and died soon after. The other grave was that of Sally W Clark, daughter of Joseph and Anna Clark.... He filed for bankruptcy and died soon after. The other grave was that of Sally W Clark, daughter of Joseph and Anna Clark. She died in 1818, the Clarks may have lived in a house on land bordering that of Alfred Bilodeau. There is a stone foundation and granite steps, now covered with leaves and soil. Another child of the Clarks is buried in Trinity Cemetery. It must be noted that Ashland was part of Holderness until the mid 1850's
