Description	:	The Bentley Cemetery is an endowed family burying ground. In the gate of iron fence that surrounds the plot are the initials S.B. and H.K. Bentley. This is the resting place of Sheshbazzar Bentley, Jr., the founder of Bentleyville. The readings from 1957 and 1974 were found in documents of the Soutwestern PA Historical Society from readings provided by Mrs. Mary Lou Scott, Mrs. Lyle Watson, Mrs. Pauline Friend, Mrs. Irene P. Lignian (1974) and Mr. Karlan Keenan (1957). The Records are now located in the genealogy section of the Citizens Library in Washington, PA.	The Bentley Cemetery is an endowed family burying ground.
