Description : Borissovo was a Mennonite settlement in the Russian province of Ekaterinoslav (now Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine), district of Bachmut, founded in 1892 by members of the Chortitza colony on land purchased by them. It consisted of three villages, No. 1 - Kondratyevka, No. 2 - Nikolaipol (Nikolaifeld), and No. 3 - Lyubomirovka, and owned a total of 5,100 hectares (13,000 acres). A farm unit contained 80 desiatinas (210 acres). In 1915 the colony numbered 80 families with 400 inhabitants. Each village had a school. Bergmann, Cornelius and Richard D Thiessen.
