Description : The cemetery is located in Wingfield Twp. [Sect. 1?] at the peak of a steep hill. The site was supposedly chosen by Catherine McDonough Briggs "because she desired to buried in a place where the land would not soon be broken by a plow." Junction City Union, Jan. 9, 1933. There are believed to be 6 burials. The graves were recorded by Mary Tully, Chuck and Sarah Olmstead. Then later by Volunteers from the Geary County Historical Society Family Researchers on 29 Nov 1995.
