The church is on the East bank of Buck Creek. A plaque on the gives the following information: 1876 Buck Creek M E Church 1929-Duncan O Todd, G Ward, L White, I Allen, W Henderson, C Sheckles, J Bemus. This is now the Allen Chapel United Methodist church. Condition: The cemetery is located about 75 feet SW from the church in an area measuring about 45' X 50' and is not fenced. In addition to the markers listed, the survey found seven graves marked by fieldstones and concrete slabs without names. The survey was made on November 9, 1980. Condition: As of November 25, 2017, done by FAG #47403621. Only two concrete sidewalk stones still stand. No signs of any other markers. It is unkept.
