Description	:	The Burgess Farm Cemetery is located on the old John Burgess farm site (settled about 1795) in Herkimer County, near the Otsego county line on what is now McGinnis (McGintis?) Road. The cemetery was referred to as the Old Neighborhood Cemetery by the Fenton family after they purchased the property about 1870. The old cemetery is now in a sad state with many stones down and damaged and the fenced off plots overgrown with trees and brush.
