Description	:	Located in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 23 in Ayr Township, Cass County, North Dakota. In 1932 S. W. Bradford purchased a plot of land for a cemetery. When he learned it must be official if anyone was to be buried there, he had it made an official cemetery and it was named "Cass County Central Cemetery." Read More	Located in the NE1/4 of the NE1/4 of Section 23 in Ayr Township, Cass County, North Dakota. In 1932 S. W. Bradford purchased a plot of land for a cemetery. When he learned it must be official if anyone was to be buried there, he had it made an official cemetery and it was named "Cass County Central Cemetery." Originally it contained 64 lots of 5 X 10 feet each. Later 4.6 acres were added. It is not known why the extra acres were added. Some thought it had to be a certain size to be official, but that was not the reason. To date there have only been two burials in the cemetery. S. W. Bradford was buried there in 1939. Mrs. Bradford died in Chicago in 1966. She was cremated and her remains were interred beside her husband. In 1976, Elbert Rand, a local farmer, was mowing and maintaining the cemetery.
