| Description | : | The Vila Rosali Novo Cemetery is one of two cemeteries run by Chevra Kadisha of Rio de Janeiro in the neighborhood. Acquired by Chevra Kadisha in 1945, it only began to be used effectively in 1967 and today new burials still take place there. This cemetery is on the same street as the old Vila Rosali Cemetery, practically facing each other. Being this the second cemetery founded by the institution, the Vila Rosali Novo Cemetery was inaugurated to meet the demand of new spaces for burial. |
