Description	:	LOCATION: From the interstate of Hwy. 2612 and 161 in Hughes Springs, go south on 161 for 1.9 miles, turn left on CR 2991 and travel .7 mile, turn left on road into woods, .1 mile to cemetery. This cemetery is known to be predominately black. The land was donated by Wesley Cheatham in the 1800's. Many members of the Cheatham, Turner and Peppers families are buried here. Among the oldest buried here are Henry and Amie Cheatham. This cemetery has a fence across the front, but the gate has been destroyed by vandals. Many tombstones have been broken...
