Description	:	SW, SW, SE 22-1-2E; at eastern part of bend in County W. Six headstones (for seven individuals) and four footstones are arranged in a pattern on the SW side of the road in an area that is mowed. These stones were placed there by William Sedgwick and a friend after they were unearthed by a road grader during a job to smooth the curve there. There could still be more buried there than are represented by the stones. These people were supposedly stagecoach passengers who died of cholera while passing through in the winter. It is said their bodies were stored in a nearby springhouse until they could be buried in the spring. The bodies are probably still under the road.
