Description : On August 21, 1865, the Steamer USS Argosy (Number 3) was caught in a storm, blown aground and her boilers exploded. Ten Fatalties occured amoung Union Soldiers returning home from War Service. They were buried in a Mass Grave one half mile from Magnet, Indiana (Rono) where memorial markers perpetuate this burial ground. The cemetery is located in Union Township on the south side of Parks Road about 0.7 miles south of its intersection with Magnet Valley Road.
