Description	:	The first known burial in Clay Hill Graveyard was in 1850, Aigie Steele, 4 years before Allison Creek Presbyterian Church was formed. It has always been common knowledge that the graveyard was here. It is the burial grounds for slaves and free blacks. There are about 300 buried here but only 14 inscribed stones. The rest are marked by field stones and depressions in the ground. Most of the unmarked graves now have a white iron marker.
