Description	:	The last time I saw this cemetery in person was over twenty-five years ago and at that time it was in deplorable condition. Its location, on land first settled by John Coons, Sr. (1742-1839), and the individuals buried there, all his descendants, would indicate that its primary use was as his family burial ground. There was an extremely old table-style tomb there which I believe to be his grave marker. Sometime in the twentieth century it came to be known as the McKenzie Burying Ground, when the property passed into that family's possession. (Todd Whitesides) ...
