Description	:	Family cemetery of John Cooper (born in Germany) and his Tsimshian (Native Alaskan) wife Squa Ka Blu Kieuk, called Mary. The Cooper family lived here from the 1880's until the 1940's. John and Mary homesteaded a quarter section of land in Section 22, Township 28 South, Range 1 East in 1884, and another adjoining quarter section in 1889. The last known burial here was in 1925. The land was sold to a logging interest in 1945 with the one-acre cemetery being exempt from that sale. The cemetery property is still owned by descendants...
