Description	:	Davis Cemetery is located off Fontana Lake Drive at the end of Davis Cemetery Road. It is a small cemetery at the top of a mountain, which was on the TVA's list of cemeteries which potentially had to be moved when Fontana Lake was created. Fortunately this quaint cemetery was saved and only a handful of graves were relocated to Judson Cemetery in 1943. There are approximately 90 graves still intact. Anyone wanting to visit this cemetery need only call the developer, Fontana Realtors, and ask for the "cemetery entry code." It's a long and winding road which takes almost 20 minutes to drive the less than 5 miles to the cemetery, but it is definitely worth it.
