| Description | : | It is supposedly located in section 7 of Gold Hill Township, on a sandy ridge on the old Joseph Devous farmstead, now owned by the heirs of the late Mathias Drone. According to U.S. government and G.A.R. records from the early 1890s, Jacob Willis entered this farm in 1835 that three of their comrades were buried there. A later heir to the Devous farm land allegedly moved the 12 to 15 gravestones, from the known burials in the cemetery, across the road to a wooded area in Equality Township, Gallatin County, Illinois. |
